On Martha's Vineyard Island, Edgartown Harbor faces Chappaquiddick Island to the south and east and once was home to a large whaling industry in the late 1700s to early 1800s. In 1828, Congress approved the building of a lighthouse and pier. It has since been refurbished, and is also home to a lovely memorial today.

I drew and painted images of horses, seacapes and landscapes. Nature intrigued me then, as it does now.
